James started cultivating in 2019 after taking a heavy journey from a friend's fruits. After he collected classic magic mushroom strains like Golden Teacher & Mazatepec, he wanted to dive deeper. After James acquired some new magic mushroom spores, like True Albino Teacher & Melmak OG, he's been on a breeding & isolation adventure ever since.
In 2020 James started isolating & stabilizing the strongest traits from his top producers. After experiencing Pearly Gates, he researched how to cross cubensis spores. His first successful cross was Melmak OG and Pearly Gates which gave birth to Emerald Gates, and taking him down a rabbit hole of genetic work. All the reviews and testimonies of the Gates family genetics has been the greatest journey of his life. Since James began his journey he's cultivated over 200 cultures, always circling back to his Gates series.
